This is “The Safest Wall” in Seoul, South Korea. Young couples show their love for each other by locking a pair of padlocks to this fence, and throwing the keys over the edge. By throwing away the keys, they are showing their undying commitment to each other. And if you are out there, I promise I will take you to this place. I hope you exist. I’m waiting.

And then he cheats on you.

“My interpretation of this song is that you have the girl who, for goodness sakes, just wants her boy to speak what is on his mind. To JUST LET IT OUT ALREADY!! The boy is closed up and is not showing his emotion. He does this as a defense mechanism to protect himself from getting hurt. HE became vulnerable and I think he loves her, but there must have been something that he learnt that possible scared him, and as a defensive mechanism , he is now cold and sheltered. When someone who you care about is hurting or closed up, and he/she doesn’t want to talk about it, it is very frustrating for her, it makes her crazy because she can’t “fix him.” She is pretty much saying to him that in the beginning he was himself, open and emotional. It was the boy she fell in love with. Now since “whatever happened” he closed up and isn’t being usual self. Furthermore, she is saying if you keep acting like this, she will no longer see what she originally saw in him. She doesn’t recognize him, because he is just so cold. The concrete angel is him. Concrete symbolizes his coldness and protective barriers he built to shield himself from getting hurt. And underneath all that coldness is his true self, and angel that she came to love.”
